From Costa Rica, Lava Cake is a batch of the Villa Sarchi variety, which grows beautifully on the volcanic soil of the Naranjo region. Growing in the shade, under fruit trees, on Marianella Baez Jost's farm, the cherries concentrated, as they ripened, complex and lively aromas of citrus and sweet chocolate. Medium roast, this coffee is to be discovered in espresso as well as in filter.
