- Grind 25 g of coffee (coarse grind).
- Heat the water in a kettle to a temperature between 195°F and 203°F (91°C and 95C)..
- Use a scale and stopwatch to control the settings of your brew.
- Add the freshly ground coffee to the French press, then place it on a zeroed scale.
- Pour in 300g of water and stir with a spoon so that all the ground coffee is submerged.
- At 2:30, stir the coffee and water again. Wait another 2 and a half minutes for the sediment to settle to the bottom.
- Slowly push the plunger down, before you reach the grind.
- Pour and enjoy.
